Action and Indication: This formula dispels Wind and Dampness; removes Heat; helps relieve general pain. It is used to help a person of delicate constitution relieve pain from chronic arthritis caused by Wind, Cold and Dampness. Related symptoms are: pain due to the swelling of joints, especially in the lower limbs, that are worse in the evenings and are warm to the touch; limited movement in the affected area; edema; losing weight; headache; dizziness; body temperature does not increase; lack of perspiration. Tongue usually has a greasy coating. Pulse is usually slippery and wiry.
