GMP - GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES
|
Happy Bodies vitamins are certified by the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) for compliance with (GMP). GMP, also known as cGMP, stands for Good Manufacturing Practice, and is a set of regulations set forth by the FDA to help ensure that products intended for human consumption and use are safe and effective.
GMP regulations mandate a quality-related methodology to manufacturing, enabling businesses to minimize product contamination, mis-labelling and other errors. This protects the consumer from purchasing a product that may be defective or even dangerous.
GMP regulations primarily address issues such as sanitation, process validation, equipment and document traceability, and personnel qualification.
Quality Control
From raw material selection, through manufacturing, to shipping of the finished product, Happy Bodies has strict quality control standards. We have made quality control a top priority so our customers are assured of receiving potent and effective nutritional supplements with every order.
Manufacturer Selection
Happy Bodies uses the same high standards for choosing manufacturers of their supplements as they do for raw material selection. Happy Bodies uses only manufacturers who follow FDA proposed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). By choosing to use only these manufacturers, Happy Bodies can assure our products are consistently of great quality.
All manufacturers chosen are inspected by the before they are approved to produce any products. They are also periodically audited to ensure they are consistently following the guidelines of the FDA proposed GMPs. All manufacturers must also agree to full and open disclosure and to supply Happy Bodies with a list of their Standard Operating Procedures.
Pure and Effective Products
- Science First: Our team of experts, nutritionists and industry specialists use only peer-reviewed scientifically-researched literature on nutrient metabolism as the basis for designing Happy Bodies products and protocols. The Happy Bodies "Science First" commitment contrasts with a "marketing first" approach that involves product design with non-meaningful doses of nutrients and/or the inclusion of ingredients that lack adequate scientific research.
- Nutrient Form Selection: Nutrient form selection is aimed at maximizing stability, absorption and metabolism of that particular nutrient or combination of nutrients.
- Pure Formulations: Happy Bodies minimizes the use of excipients. For example, many of our products are made through a process of low-speed encapsulation which allows for the elimination of the flow agents. In addition, Happy Bodies uses an exhaustive process for the selection of raw materials that meet or exceed accepted purity standards.
- Competitive Prices: Maximizing the Happy Bodies products price/quality ratio is a primary goal. Happy Bodies will not produce a product unless it is safe, effective and affordable to our customers.
