Action and Indication: This formula clears excess Heat and Fire in the Exterior and Interior system of the body; disperses Wind. It is used to help a person who has excess Heat and Fire in the body as well as affection of Wind and Heat. Related symptoms are: headache; sore throat; high body temperature and chills; sensation of fullness in the chest and diaphragm; dizziness; light-headedness; over-weight; habitual constipation; eyes red and sore; high blood pressure; hemorrhoids; skin rupture or ulcer; difficulty swallowing; mouth dry; bitter taste in the mouth; nasal congestion with sticky and thick discharge; urination dark and rough. Tongue is usually red with a yellow coating. Pulse is usually forceful and rapid.
