Benincasa Semen (Dong Gua Zi) 33.34%
Paeonia Cortex (Mu Dan Pi) 22.22%
Persica Semen (Tao Ren) 22.22%
Natrii Sulfas (Mang Xiao) 11.11%
Rheum Rhizoma (Da Huang) 11.11%

Action and Indication: This formula dispels Stagnant Heat in the Intestines; removes Blood Stasis; disperses lumps; reduces swelling. It is used to help disperse intestinal abscess in those with forceful conformation. Related symptoms are: pain in the lower right abdomen, cannot stand to be pressed; with hard lumps; prefer the posture of a flexed right hip and knee; stagnant blood in the lower abdomen; difficult menstruation; intermittent fever followed by chills and sweating. Tongue usually has a greasy white or yellow coating. Pulse is usually tight or rapid.

Contraindication: It is not for a person who is weak; elderly; pregnant; or who has appendicitis.
